When I start the car cold, I have 75 psi of pressure, no problem. However, when I'm on the expressway, on a 60 mile run, my pressure sits at 30 psi hot at 70 mph @ 2300 rpm's. When I'm at idle, it sit at around 10 psi.
I do not use an oil cooler. I use an alum. radiator, a HV front cover w/the blue spring(70 psi). I use 10/30 oil. Should I use 10/40 or even 20/50 to increase oil pressure?
When It is hot, I got the car up to 10 psi of boost and the oil pressure woud not even go up to 45 psi.

Pls aid:confused:

If it was me, I'd run 10-40 in this weather(is it hot there;) ).
Also, psi sounds low, it could be because no oil cooler. Hows the engine temp? I'd also think there is too much clearance in the pump to pump cover(gasket is too thick); or else there is some internal bearing problems but I don't think that's it, imo.

oil

You are badly in need of an external oilcooler. I like B&M Supercooler. I have an engine oil temp gage. As the temp goes UP, oil pressure goes DOWN. Add the cooler and use 15-50 oil and your worrys will be gone.
