oil pressure switch question

Just installed my new fuel pump and hotwire kit, fuel pump would stay turn on and stay on till key was turned off. Found the three wires that went to the oil pressure switch to be all stuck together and taped up. So I seperated them all and pump is coming on and shutting off after it primes like its supposed to now. Should I just heat shrink the wires and tuck them out of the way?

Yes you can do that. Definitely make sure the wires aren't shorted together. Hopefully you have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge installed.

Yes I have after market gauges. I've been fighting wire hack jobs on this car since I've bought it three years ago. They had the old hotwire kit wired to a switch and ran straight to the pump bypassing the relay.. some ppl should never own buicks
