oil pressure

put an inline filter on the turbo. I didn't check the oil pressure at the tubo before the filter. added the filter and a gauge. I have p70 journal bearing turbo. the oil pressure is about 75psi at cold idle on the gauge in the car. the gauge on the turbo is at 25psi. warmed up at idle is 25psi on the gauge in the car and 20psi on the turbo. the pressure gauge on the turbo goes up to 40psi when the engine is revved. how much psi does the turbo need to be safe?

Sounds like the gauge is wacked the pressures should not read different. Not sure on a journal bearing but a ball bearing needs 45 psi max.
