i noticed that my oil pressure at idle is about 10 lbs.
thats with a cle temp of 170, and rpm 875.
stock pump 40 lb spring i believe.
is this a problem?

That does seem low, but I would be more concerned with what the oil pressure is under throttle. Mine used to read about 10 psi at idle, until I found out my gauge wasn't grounded that well. Now it's about 15-20 psi (when warm). I would check the ground, because 10 psi does seem a little low. But if it jumps when you get into the throttle, I think you're all set

Generally accepted rule of thumb is 10psi per 1000 RPM. Mine is at 10-12 psi at idle as well. And it will also vary on what weight oil you use too. But as long as it rises pretty much immediately when you give it some gas, it sounds fine to me...

What pressures do you get at 2,400 rpm and WOT fully warmed up?

My T-Type is doing pretty much the same thing. After replacing a faulty pickup tube (screen had finer mesh, screen was smashed down, and had junk stuck in it) I'm getting 65 psi WOT now instead of 45-50 psi but still 10-15 psi hot idle in gear.
