How often do you guys wash/clean your black GN? I swear to god I find myself cleaning something everyday. I sometimes rewash my car after I wash it the first time because it isn't clean enough. It's like as soon as you wash it you better show the car off right away otherwise it gets dirty within the end of the day! I keep a california duster on me all the time (the big one) and that doesn't keep from bug guts all over the front end and stuff...i even have brake dust shields on the front and my rims still get dirty all the time! it sure is a major chore keeping these things clean!:D

My regals rosewood and it's a garage queen. I have none of those problems:D My impala on the other hand,I feel your pain:(
Can't go 2 minutes without getting dirty or bombed by the birds:mad:

California duster...

I have a GN and had a black truck as well. Both spend(t) their lives outside. I like using the California duster thing to wipe off the morning pollen. That's so long as the birds haven't got to it first... then out the hose needs to come. :( Still... it's a good product in my opinion. I usually will wash the car about once a week if I can, but this is good for the between times.

The truck was easier... used to take it out mudding then let it stay that way for a while. :)

I'd feel for you if I didn't have to take care of This Fleet Double vision??The truck on the left is Dad's but I don't let him work too hard with his high blood pressure.;)

I consider my WE4 as the dirtiest clean car around. It's garaged always and washed regularly. But, sits so long in the garage, not driven because of the rain, and gets all dusty. Any way, I love blowin' the dirt off when the sun comes out.

The car is the easy part, it's those pesky GNX style rims that I can never keep clean

My car doesn't leave the garage often so thankfully it doesn't get that dirty. I try to limit the amount of washes in order to keep the rust down but I would say I wash it every 3-4 times I drive it, so about 1 month during the summer. (unless the birds get to it, you know they love balck cars)

I've been driving my car to work the last couple of weeks since the weather's been nice, and when I get home, I give it the Duster one night, then go over it with Quik Detailer the next (on at least the top services. 5 minutes tops. Seems to work well. If you don't have a garage, though, a lot more crap falls on the car. :(

Maybe 4 times a year.. right now it is a green/gray from the pollen and garage dust.

After washing I always go for a little spin to blow out the water that gets trapped an tight unseen area's. The air dries it perfect.

Black sure is tough to keep clean even when its just washed. My 87 Turbo T limited is grey metallic. Grey is definitly the best color to have that looks good even when dirty with the color white being the second best. The car still gets cleaned every chance I get but I can get away with being dirty for a while and it still looks clean.
