I really like this turbo...I see a guy on here by the name of J Banning has one and went 10.97 easily on low 20's boost with it...that's exactly the kind of combo I am looking to build right now...anyone else running the 67 turbo? I was thinking a PTS 9/11 3500 stall and either 57 lb high impedence injectors or 72's...is this a good combo for street use? any issues?

I would wait a few months on the 67. Harry said(at the ans meeting last weeked) this
will be a full gt turbo by then with both sides being gt technology. That turbo will out shine
a 70 of todays standards. But the price will prob. go up a couple hundred.. As the turbo
is in its current state , it seems like a real nice and powerful turbo.

Big Sucka! I got one but fell back to the 63... couple of issues I had was the fitment to a Dutt Kneck did not line up right.. THe other one was the 4in inlet whcih you need a IAC relocator or "The Boss" to allow the massive MAF pipe to clear. Not an issue with a front mount.. But I dont have a front mount now.. :( I am going to wait until the Stage motor and the GT for that one...

The PT 67 is currently available with GT Technology:

PT67 GTQ which uses GT wheels on both Compressor & Turbine,
and the PT67 P-trim which ultilizes the GT Compressor wheel & 76 P-Trim turbine wheel.

The 67's perform as well as the older style 70's.

The newer PT 70's and 71's GTQ's as we have already seen are awesome performers as Dave Bamford and others can attest to.

Joe with the proper converter how does this thing spool? And how streetable is it? I realize it depends on the combo, but with everything matched correctly from what I've read it spools as good if not better than a much smaller turbo. And since I have your ear, what are your thoughts on the GT40? Thanks!!

Sorry about the mis info- he did say cetain models will have full gt technology in a few months. This does sound like a great turbo

The PT67's should spool as fast as a 63 or 64 and make as much as 75-100hp more power:)

I don't have enough info as of yet to comment on the GT40 as provided by Garrett.

I think definitely go with the 72's. The 57's won't be nearly enough for the 67 turbo. I hope to get mine bolted on this weekend and will post a spoolup comparison between the 67 and my PTE54.

Saw my first one yesterday. The car its on isn't finished yet so I don't how it performs. But its huge and looks really nice.

I would like to hear what the spoolup difference is. I have a 52 and will be upgrading to a 67 or a 45A and I am interested to see how much slower the 67 spools vs a 52 or 54 in this case.

I ran several 11.06 runs at 20-21psi. The 10.97 was with 24psi (end of day, car was hot).

I have no problems with this on the street. I drove it to our club meet last week (100mi round trip) and it worked fine. The 72's use a lot of fuel, but I was still able to get about 17mpg at a 70mph cruise.

I didn't have to do that. Just unhook the plastic backing on the iac plug and swing it out of the way. This allows you to fold the IAC wires closer to the plug, thus giving you more clearance for the 4" inlet pipe.
