I believe he's met his x-mas obligation and it's about time to take them down.

It is past due for any Christmas related décor but there may be mitigating circumstances.

True, he's not lazy as I see him walk his dogs everyday. Maybe he has a little child begging him to keep them up?

Have you seen said child?
My neighbors have this issue, hell I think they still have a Witch from Halloween hanging from their tree, but this should be a HOA issue, Our HOA will waste the time and resources to mail a letter if our trash is brought out or left out 24hr's ahead or after pickup yet overlook our neighbors who leave trash and trashcans out for days. I told them to GFTS's.

Tonight is New Year if one goes by the old calendar. If he takes it down tomorrow, he may be Orthodox Christian. Speculation on my part.

Haha I took mine down last night. But mostly because the heavy rain knocked them over.

Many in my area still have Christmas lights up and on every night. Maybe they own stock in the power company?

All my stuff came down today. The weather cooperated so I took advantage.

Even if someone hasn't taken them down yet, it doesn't mean they have to turn them on!

Some areas they're illegal since they contain lasers. Check with local ordinances, although this stuff is probably too new to the market to have warranted a specific ordinance. Your community needs an ordinance, since the typical neighbor doesn't know how to aim them. And because they use lasers, the beams can interfere with aircraft and confuse a pilot on low-flying planes. You might check with the local airports and maybe request a rep from the FAA to make a "courtesy" visit.

I've seen houses were they leave the Christmas decorations up all year long. I guess they think it's their house so they do what they want.

Laziest way to decorate, half my neighborhood had them. One guy still has all those inflatables going. I live in the flight path of an airport and nothing has ever been said. Move them inside for basement disco parties then back outside again at Christmas

If the person is Catholic, the correct time to remove them is at the Epiphany (Jan. 6)
