It doesn't really read A/F ratio, but rather O2 values. It reads the stock NBO2 signal. It's just that the graph on the front is graduated in A/F values, which are meaningless.
Haven't seen one of those in a while! I remember a Chicago street racer had one hidden on the right side idiot light location. During the burnout and staging people on the starting line went crazy trying to figure those lights out. Nice part of the TR upgrade history, but doubt it would be of any use these days.
