This looks like a great place to ask about a GN.... A I'm Canadian:biggrin:

1984 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL 2 DOOR COUPE 3.8L TURBO FULLY LOADED INCLUDING T TOP ALSO HAS LEATHER INTERIOR 43,000 KMS 26,719.03 miles THIS CAR WAS IN A HEATED GARAGE FOR 14 YEARS VERY CLEAN CAR IN EVERYWAY NEW INSPECTION

Just need a little input on what I would be bying..

Mike

Well what are you looking to do with the car ?? thats 99% of the battle

T-Tops are nice, but you have to look really close for rust. They leak like a sieve man. Trust me, I would know. I've got the Flinstone-floor option :D. Anyways, if your not looking to go fast, but looking to be in style, then buy an 84. But if you want to go fast, the 86/87s are your best bet. Don't get me wrong, 84/85s can be fast.. But not very cheaply.

:cool:Cool. Thanks for the replies. I'm just looking. I would like to drive the car in the summer.

its not goin to be fast by any means. does look nice BUT it is still a HA car. How much $$$ ??

Thanks Grumpy.

I really don't care if its fast or not. I love the car ever since it came out. I watched the Grand National series for years. (Na scar) that is. I will look for the Pro Code WE2 under the trunk and make sure the Vin match. I will try to see under the carpet for excess rust. If the Top leaks It will all go to the floor right?

Hes asking $11.000 but one can always bargain out a deal if the cars worth it.

cheers

11k?! Not a chance in bloody he##.... Next!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that's way too much. There's just no demand for hot-air cars. Maybe half that...a little more if its in truly remarkable condition perhaps? Do research and look for pricing on comparable cars to see for yourself.

You could get a nice 86-87 with much better performance for $11k...and if you don't care about performance, I'm sure you care about money, and the resale value would be WAY better on an intercooled car. Good luck.

Just a thought

I am Ontario Canada and if you are interested I would be willing to help.:biggrin:Their are alot of cars here for sale in great shape .The car you are looking at is not worth the money,:rolleyes:listen to the board members they will help you.:DGood luck and welcome to the board.

I agree that $11K is too much for that car. Maybe it's just the picture, but does the fender to door gap on the passenger side look a bit suspect?
