just dug out an old tape from 1988,may be '89. Englishtown and Turbo Tune. Do not remember ever watching it before. Fun stuff. fastest car ran low 12's, most were high 13's.

Any way you can get it made into a DVD and load it up on Youtube or something so we can all enjoy it bro? I believe you can get stuff like that done at CVS pharmacy, maybe Staples?

It would be real awesome to see.

I've got some pics sitting on the desk here from that race actually. We went to Old Bridge for many years to see the Buicks vs. Mustangs. I remember everybody checking out the Turbo Tune car thinking it was the "holy grail". I've got some pics of Buddy Cox's GNX in front of me now. It had the AVC MotorSports stickers on the door right? Somewhere around here is a bunch of videos from back in those days. We spent alot of time in NJ watching the Buicks race. Man those were the days :D

HAHAHA I love the time slips. Nowaday a respectable STREET car isnt anywhere near the 13's ... more like low 12s or high 11s , what a difference!!! ---

Back then that car was the holy grail. They were the fastest car out there for a while, even faster than Duttweiler and they had some innovative ideas, just poor execution and marketing.

If you ever saw that car go down the track, it was something to see. It didnt leave hard, it just drove out and came on like gangbusters.

Where are they now?...

I have both the "BUICK GRAND NATIONAL VIDEO" VOL 1 AND 2, made in the late '80's and early '90's by "Creative Video Images" of Voorhees, NJ. I still enjoy watching them every now and then...I even had them transferred to DVD's!
I've always wondered whatever happened to all these people, especially the guys from "Turbo Tune" (Pat Stajdel and Bill Geiger) and also Gary Passanante from Creative Video Images?...They made nice and informative videos for the Buick GN "beginners" back then...I've searched several times on the net and I've never found anything at all about them...as if they never existed!...Anyone here knows?

Claude.

P.S: The "TURBO TUNE" prepared GN belonged to a certain Frank Smith...Anyone know whatever happened to this car and it's owner?...Have they vanished too?...

That short video is actually a commercial which is included in the "BUICK GRAND NATIONAL VIDEO VOL.1"...

Claude.

There is another video on youtube about them as well, maybe more but i didn't look at the whole list.
