From the factory ,Buick motor,all alum, meth. I heard about never seen one until 2 weeks ago . Convert too:cool:
 
weren't those based on the Corvair chassis, except with the engine up front where it belongs? i believe Pontiac had a version, too..
 
A very cool article , I had a 62 Buick Special that had the all aluminum 215 V8 in it . The Buick Special looked alot like that Olds F85 .
 
And I had a 63 Pontiac LeMans that had the wierd curved flexible driveshaft feeding the transaxle in the rear.
 
A buddy of mine in 1966, almost bought one of these. The turbo was long gone and it was a pig, but it was still cool.
 
Hey Frank- met that guy at Summer Thunder in Purcellville last summer- probably coolest car there. Guys first name was Scott I believe. They didn't make many of these especially in ragtop.
