I have a street car that has most of the usual bolt ons; Tinman air filter, stock turbo& injectors, stretch IC,Thrasher chip, ported plenum w/RJC plate,Kirban's 3" Downpipe and ported exhaust housing ,3" test pipe ,Hooker duals. What gains might I expect from a THDP or the Mease Down pipe ? Is the stainless steel better than the mild steel pipe with HPC coating inside and out ? Thanks

Stainless is better even coated.

My Postons headers (non-stainless) look terrible after 5 years use, rust and flaking coating.

Don't know about the gains what MPH you running now?

Just my .02.

My car is not raced at the track. I am just looking for what sort of bang for the buck I should expect or will I get enough to justify spending $400. Thanks. Gary

I would think at your level it would not make that big a difference over the settup you already have. For 400 bucks I would go with alky injection and a turbotweak alky chip next if its a pure street car. You will be able to run more boost on the street and will notice a big difference if thats what your after.

I agree. Best ban for the buck is an alky setup. I have Razor's and TT chip and my car has never ran better. Install the alky, turn up boost, and have fun skating across town :D

FWIW & IMHO:
I don't believe that you would see any noticeable difference in HP or torque, and if the difference was measurable, I wouldn't think that it would amount to anything other than a little cooler under the hood maybe, and a cleaner appearance. Expensive improvements, to say the least. The suggestions noted above would be the best bang for the buck.
