My driver sode header cracked. Is it better to get an after market headers or just repair the one that I have.

Who make good after market header.

For this time I have stack heads.

Repairing the stock one is the cheapest solution and since there is no good reason to upgrade to headers until you are running fast....

Hey No Rice, my header is cracked too. I'm having mine welded. Be sure to have it TIG welded and bolt the header to a cylinder head to prevent warping the flange. It's also a good idea to put some weld around the primarys on the flange if you play with the heat good. Stock headers will work well into the 10 second range. Check your crossover pipe too. Mine was leaking and the ends were warped from heat. I had no choice but to replace it. I chose the 2 1/4" stock replacement from Kirbans. Good quality, fit good, 304 stainless, only complaint is that it didn't come with new bolts. Performance should increase too with a tight exhaust system, considering it's BEFORE the turbo. My car went 95 mph thru the 1/4 with the cracked header, 15psi of ****ty boost, NO POSI, NO BOOST off the line. I'm attempting mid 11's with stock turbo and intercooler.

Thank guys.

I have no intension of going below a 11's. If I hit a high ten i will be really happy. I"ve just save my money and get it welded.

Right now the crack is not that bad. Still getting boost off the line With a TA60 turbo.

Turbolink is working so i hope I can get it running good. I'm just trying to get a the bugs iron out.
I don't want to do any other mods unit I get this thing running right.

50lb injectors are next.

So very low boost until bigger injectors.
