Original Battery?

Howdy all,

I need to replace the battery in my Grand National as it won't hold a charge anymore. I need an AC Delco replacement that is EXACT in every detail to the 1987 original since the entire car is 100% factory, including the tires and orangepeel paint. I'm a stickler for keeping my car as it was the day it was made. Can you guys help?....

I don't think the original white batteries are available anymore. You may have to find a battery company that can rebuild yours using the original case. Maybe look in Hemmings?

The family 87 turbo T was ordered (special order) with the heavy duty battery option. When it quit, we put it in the storage area for the day that someone would ask the question that you are asking. If you are patient, we could take some digital pictures of the original battery (this weekend).
