Is there a special tool used to install plugs?Also is there a specific depth the rear plug needs to be?Thanks

I use the flat side a wheel bearing race installer to drive in the freeze plugs and cam plug. The cam plug should be flush with the back side of the block. I use 3M weatherstrip cement on all the plugs, just a thin layer.
