output shaft question.

If you dont know my car, see my posts, needless to say I keep finding issues. I noticed today when fitting the driveshaft that the trany output shaft has a huge amount of movement, this cant be normal? Any suggestions???????

It's totally normal. The drive shaft holds it in place with the help of the case bushing. You are OK.

whew good to know, I almost s@%t when I saw it, Im used to little or no play on a TH350/400 and this felt like it was floppy. I just knew the shaft had broken. Thanks SV
