Outside difference's from 85,86,87 Turbo Regals

Are any exterior body parts, such as header panels, grilles, doors, etc. interchangable during the years of the turbo cars. The person I bought the car of off says it is an 87 with an 86 grille. The problem is I do not know the difference.

Everything is the same, exept the grille on the 84-86 are closer spaced (the bars) and have a chrome strip across the top, where as the 87s are all blacked out. All the body panels are the same, but the hot airs have a different front spoiler. Thats all i can think of.

You're right, the grill is the only exterior difference. Why not check the ownership and see what year it says??

sorry I didn't read all of your post. The grill is the only exterior difference between the 86 and 87 cars, I don't know about the 85 except the wheels were different for sure.
