So a couple of days ago i was driving and my radiator hose popped off from the bottom, and then my car ofcourse started over heating, well i replaced the hose and put more antifreeze and water in, then i started driving again and it started overheating above 250 degrees, so i dunno what the deal is but i tried to drive it again and it did the same thing, and I'm afraid to drive it anymore especially if its going above 250... any thoughts or ideas what the problem is? thanks for any advice.

did you burp the motor after refilling it with coolant ? and use a new t-stat

With the cap off and the car warm and running can you see the water circulate in the radiator?

how long does it take to see it start circulating cold start might have partial stuck open stat if it circulates about as soon as you start it change stat. alot time you get one that hot stats bad mike
