hey dont know if this is the best place to post this but what companies make high heat engine paint? i know duplocolor does and thats the only one i see in stores. so if anybody has any info about it im just seeing what other colors are out there

hey

Also wondering about what kinda paint you can use on valve covers? oes it have to be high heat? any sugestions would be nice
 
I use the VHT 1500 degree aluminum paint which almost looks like phoney chrome but then I go over it with clear engine enamel which tones it down a little bit and they look real good. The added step is when they dry I take a sanding block with some 80 grit paper and sand the ribs then go over it with 220 grit and polish the ribs. They look sweet when you are done. This is the way I have done several sets and everybody seems to like them.
 
thanks as of right now i got out the dremel polishing kit and polished all the ribs on mine and was gonna get some pin stiping tape and paint them
