Anyone knows of any good painter or restoration place in So Cal to repaint my GN.... I'm ready to drop throw it in the paint shop

Im in the same boat. Let me know if you find anyone. Cause if not im gonna end up going to macco in fremont CA. they have great reviews and they even have a youtube page showing well over 40 cars and the work they did on them. Check it out.

There was a thread on here about people going to maaco. Basically said if you remove all the trim and do the prep work. Maybe let the painter who will be working on your car know that he'll get a nice tip if it turns out well then you can actually get a quality job even at a maaco.

Prep work is defiantly the key. take off all the trim, I would take out the quarter glass to and bumpers and wet sand with a block the whole car I'd use a 8" block on the big areas.And sand the edges good too miner imperfections in paint can be fixed with 1500 sandpaper paint will not hide any imperfections in the body work it only lays to what's there.

Yeah pittsburg kid, I read it thats post and thats what got me to weighing my options. I mean Im far from rich. Not looking for car show quality job but at the same time It's gotta look good gotta represent for all the Gn's out there. Check out there page and tell me what you think of there work. I've read quite a few reviews and most folks say they do a damn good job and there customer service is real good.

i got a painter thats pretty good about 125 mile north of la. he's good but not fast i'm dropping my t off in a couple weeks i'll post pics when done.

my car will be easy for him all he has to do is clean mask and spray i'm doin all the bodywork including the cut and buff and supplying paint, i've given him alot of businees so he's doing mine for 600 bux. hopefully i'll be dropping it off next week should only take a few days.
