I just picked up a pair of OE front bumper fillers from the local Buick dealer.
They are grey...

Any pointers on prepping these and painting them black?

Yeah, just scuff/ rough them up with either 600 grit (wet or dry) or Scotch-type pad, get you some SEM Sand-Free #38363, & b4 it dries--cover with SEM #15233 (Gloss Black), & then optional top coat of SEM #13003 (Clear Coat). All these have flex-agent already added, and are in spray cans--about $11 each + about $8 shipping--or near $41 total...

Some notes of advice:

1) This gloss black will closely match "original GN black paint"--which appears to have a little brown in it (compared to typical repaint deeper black)...and,

2) You need be careful with the clear coat so it does not not get too thick as you're trying to cover (it may leave bubbles in the finish as the solvent/ reducer flashes off)). I'd be tempted to just skip the clear coat as the gloss black should flow-out & be as slick as a minnows pet_r.

You can try Levine Automotive OTC and Autoxray Code Scanners, Touch up Paint, Truck Lite for these paints, etc.

Good luck!
