Panasonic CD problems

I have a Panasonic model DP965 (I think)...I put in a CD and it tried to load it (in-out-in-out-in-jam) I don't think that it's going all the way in then gets stuck and will not play..Any Ideas?

Bad transport or optical.

So in other words I need a new deck... Well I need to replace the front speakers anyhow....I can hardly hear them....
Should I try to clean it?

You got any local repair shops that do free estimates? BTW new CD players starts for $99 now.

Thanks, I'll try a local shop..and if that doesn't work I'll add a ext cd...thanks for the ideas.
