part number AC 16030 STALL

does any one know any thing about this stall , i was told it is a 12" 2800 non locking . Does any one know if it is a non locking or any thing about it.

Ive been trying to get in touch with art carr about this stall but no e mails back yet.


can any one help out here and know a little about this AC16030 stall.

lock up or not.

My trans has no wiresin the trans for the tcc so iam sure its a non lock up trans

According to my AC catalog, the 16030 is a 10" non-lockup converter. It's under the category of "heavy duty super torque" for engines in excess of 450 hp. No mention of exact stall rpm though. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, i was told it was a 2800 non lock up, but it looks like a 12" stall so iam not sure whats going on. Can i just use a tape measure to see if it a 10 or 12"
