part throttle knock

I'm having a problem with part throttle knock on the highway.If I give the car progressive throttle to accelerate it gets anywhere from 1 to 7 * all the time.If I stomp the throttle it will pull like mad with little as 2* to none KR.Are there any things I can check that ight help? FP is set at 45 line off,boost is at 17 at wot.Also the car is seeming unusually "laggy" on the street from a roll.That might just be the rebuilt turbo,but is there a way to quicken spool a little with a slightly oversized turbo?My sig says its a pt52 but that blew up and I had it rebuilt.It has a larger turbine and a 63-1 compressor.The exhaust housing is a .63 A/R precision.
