Yesterday, it took me awhile to get the stock plate off to replace with the replacement piece, which in my opinion is a bit pricey for what you get. Anyhow, I got started on it late and ran short of time. The little push on clips are near impossible to remove without breaking off the plastic pins. I used a funky tool about 9" long with a little hammer on one end and a slightly angled, forked nail remover type of thing at the end of the handle. One clip was missing, I broke one pin off, and the other 2 came off with lots of hissing and cussing. My new piece came with 3 threaded studs, but only the outside 2 had holes for them in the dash. It looks like we need to use a hole saw for all 4 gauges, unless you have some type of flush mount gauges. I also bought the autometer angled rings (2234), so where to make the holes will take some thought.
I'm willing to listen to feedback from anyone whos already done this install.
