Is there a way to have a passenger-side power seat in a GN/TR?

Needs to look and work completely factory.

Any one done this successfully?

TIA!! :)

Use a driver side power seat track and get the side plastic out of a Cadillac Cimarron. You should even be able to find the plastic in your color without painting it!:D

LET'S DO IT!

Awesome!

Now to find TWO power seat tracks, and wiring harnesses...

Any particular year Cimarrons, GN1220?

TIA!! :)

Any year with the power seat!LOL I don't even know what years they made those Cavaliers, I mean Cimarrons.:) Just make sure you get the small bracket that attaches to the front of the seat that holds the plastic. When I converted my seat to power, I found the holes for the bracket screw was already drilled in the seat!
What color plastic do you need? I can try to locate it for you, if you would like.

THANKS!!

GN1220,

Just the appropriate color for GNs...they are black plastic along the seat tracks and gray plastic where the seat controls would be.

Finding the plastic components WITH their correct associated hardware would be immensely helpful if convenient for you, AND if I may compensate you accordingly.

Thanks greatly!! :)

Give me some time to try to locate the grey plastic for you. If not, I might part with the grey trim I have in my "Parts to add the GN" box in the attic.:) It's hard for me to remove the black trim from the cars in the yard because I need to move the seat around to gain access to the screws but, with no power to the seat, it makes for a difficult time. I'll keep you posted :)

You can also look in other models. The seat tracks out of a bench seat car will work too. I found a passenger side power seat in an 87 Regal Limited. I also used the driver side from my GN in a 82 Lesabre so I would think the opposite would apply. We all know there are millions of full sized cars out there. The only car you are going to find the control panel is a Cadillac Cimarron though. Happy hunting Eric Fisher

Two Lane, I have the grey plastic trim with the small bracket but I haven't located the black plastic trim yet. If you would like it now just let me know.:) $20 shipped? I will continue my search for the other items you need.
