One day my passenger power window stopped going down. I assumed the motor was just wore out so I ordered a replacement. I took the door panel off and started figuring out how I should remove it when I figured I would test the switch. I can hear a clicking to go up but nothing to go down. I pulled the plug from the motor and attached it to the new motor on the ground and it will only spin one direction. Has anyone ever experienced this? The issue is the same from both driver and passenger switches.

To go down you need ground on the Dark Blue wire Pin A on the connector and +12 on the Brown wire Pin B on the connector.

Find out what's missing, most likely the ground, which means it's one of the window switches, could be the passenger or drivers switch most likely the drivers.

Test what's missing at the connector using the passenger switch first.

Many times when the passenger window malfunctions, it's the driver side switch that has gone bad.

Thanks for all the ideas guys. I’m going to mess with it this afternoon and see what I find.
