To all those who doubted the Patriots... here we are again, one win away from being the champs again! Tough break for the Eagles, I thought they could take Carolina. I don't see the Pats 14 game win streak coming to an end against the Panthers. New England is the best team in the league no doubt!... i don't care how much Ty Law costs the Pat's, they better not cut him for salary cap reasons next season!... 3 INT's on Pretty Boy Manning!! Can't wait the Feb. 1st!!

salary cap

Pats are in good shape with the cap. Law isn't going anywhere. He was the games MVP as far as I'm concerned. I didn't agree with the Pats continue to throw in the red zone twicw towards the endd but the coaching staff must have sseen something they liked. That game was closer than it needed to be. Respect? They just won't get it and the players don't care. Simms can't stand the Pats and Gumble says in the secondd quarter when Indy was on the Pats 25 yard line after a completetion, "And the Colts are knocking on the door!!!" Knocking on the door? They wern't even in the red zone. Those two were pathetic to listen to. That's alright, the better team won. Drew:)

The Pats were awesome yesterday. And the Colts were pathetic. Did the Colts make the Pats look good? Did the Pats make the Colts look bad? Who's to say?

A couple of observations:

1. Maybe it's because the Colts play in a dome, on turf, but they looked to be clueless on a bad track. They looked like they were moonwalking on pudding. Did the Pats steal their shoes?

2. The Pats absolutely mugged the Colts receivers. I guess that's an advantage accorded to the home team, but I don't like it. Call the game. BTW, the Pats would have been at the Colts but for one failed 4th and 1 during the regular season. S happens.

3. I think the Pats will win the SB. Being on the road and playing on a fast track are big disadvantages for them (sorry, Pats, you can't play in the House of Officiating Horrors every game), but the Panthers aren't much of an opponent. Welcome to parity!

:)

Yup, that's what I was thinking too when Gumbel said the Colts were knocking on the door too at the 25 yd line. There's not many commentators I like to listen too. That's why I listen to Cappaletti (SP?) on the radio and mute the tv.

That was a good game, but the Pats could have done a few things better. And they will in the Bowl. Carolina has nothing for them.

I often wish ANY game should be shown without the commentators of today. They should be televised with no audio, except for the stadium noise and the stadium announcer. That goes for college games too. Immediately cut Collinsworth, Montana, and that oversized wax puppet, MADDEN. While I'm venting, cut Musberger from college games. :p

Although I agree the Patriots will win the Superbowl I don't think we should be overconfident. Remember, the Patriots were the underdog just 2 years ago. They weren't even given a chance to beat the Rams and look what happened. This team doesn't make a lot of mistakes, that's for sure but all it will take is an injury to Brady and we are screwed.

Pats vs. Panthers

Two very good defenses. Two so-so offenses. Should be interesting.

I guess Manning found out about the "long arm of the (Ty) Law"
Not going to be a blowout, but the patsies will win. The Panthers won't get past NE's offensive line and the defense will be too much for Delhomme to handle.

If I was a patriot fan I wouldn't be too confident. Hell they gave the colts every opportunity to come back in that game. 4 turnovers and they were only ahead by 10 at the end???? I thought the patriots looked like crap and the coaching decisions were horrible. You take away Ty Law and his contributions and the pats lose that game. Ty is one of those players that can change a game. Awesome player. I watched Brady throw two passes and hit colt defenders in the numbers and they dropped it. I watch Ty Law coming from across the field and catching those things one handed. Something else and definatly the difference in this game. Show him the money!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

blah blah blah!

people STILL doubting the Patriots i see...shame shame shame...

Tom Brady is gonna kick all your @ss's again...all I have to say is that I am a very rich man after sunday's win...lots of Colts fans around here obviously:D
