I recently got a Vigilante converter as part of a deal I worked out. I called PI with the serial number to get the particulars and it turns out to be the stall I want but it is a single disc as opposed to a multi-disc that I am accustomed to using. My question is that I know there is a pretty good performace increase when locking the stock converter but does that hold true with a more effecient converter like the Vigilante? I am trying to decide if it is worth it to send my coverter back to PI to be updated with the mulit-disc cluth. This is going in a high 10 second car. Thanks

If you plan to lock it up at the track, I would send it in to have it changed to the multi-disc. PI doesn't even recommend locking their single disc at WOT. If you do have it changed you'll need the lock up assist tube for the front pump, per their recommendation.
