Hi turbowrenchead: I am sorry to hear that you had trouble on your high dollar rebuild and only got 300 miles on the clock and found Problems.
I too am experiencing a new engine problem,
I had Jack merkel build me a roller cam 109 block with full ported heads to the tune of over $7300 for my 85 T-type Riviera and there is a problem with a defective Roller hydraulic valve lifter, So after waiting over 9 months with my car up at RON'S in NJ, it is sill not running , but Close, probably another month.
I enjoyed looking at your Pictures of all your special PLUMBING,
I Would like to tell you about something that I did not like to much if you don't mind.
ON your OIL FILTER BLOCK fitting , looks like you have (4) line comming off it, LOOKS LIKE YOU may have a 87 style oil cooler take off and the pte turbo saver END port adater,
IF you are going to run a remote oil filter and Cooler , I would not hook them up in that parallel going everywhere arangement, I would CASCASDE the two with ONLY TWO lines from engine, and I would make the lines AN-12.
Two off the take off lines in your pics are sharp 90 degree bends, i bet the through port size on those fittings are less than 3/8".
YOU may have STARVED your bearing for oil with all those long run oil lines being a restriction.
I hate to rain on your parade about your oil lines, but just giving my constructive opinion.
Good luck with getting your new engine straightened out , REGARDS
