I still need to fabricate a top bracket for the intercooler. I'm not sure if this intercooler is suppose to be in the center of the radiator, or off to the side like it is.

I second that motion, I would like to know what difference and any problems you might run into.

Nice!

Should be centered, your lower intercooler pipe should be closer to the bumper bracket(I know that for sure). Did you cut any metal away from your headlight area to move the pipe closer in?
The stock hot airs run low 15s to mid 15s in the quarter. My old '85 ran a 14.05 with Spearco Intercooler, adj. wastegate arm & fuel reg., open K&N, 2.5 inch kenne-bell cat-back, hi-flow cat, bigger fuel pump/no hot wire and Kenne-bell chip(sucked!). About 18#s of boost. Open rear end & stock size tires! Everything else was stock(turbo, headers, intake, stall, etc).
Your going to want a temp gauge with that front mount!! Then once you see how hot she gets on a warm day your going to want electric fans!! :D

rob 350, did you have to modify anything when you installed the tube behind the throttle body? Did you have to do anything to the throttle cable bracket? Is your cruise still funtionable? what about the wastegate and egr solenoids on the driver valve cover? did you have to move those? Does it rub against the windshield wiper arm or power steering hard lines?
thanks in advance for any info. and looks nice btw.

i have a hot air project im working on.. where can you get one of the kits and whats the cost

Gbody parts is claiming to be reproducing these kits by december. I'm sure there will be updates in this forum over the next couple months.

Nope.
Nope.
Yes.
Those are still in the stock positions.
Not that I know of.

I need to get this car back together so I can take it for a ride before it snows. I just need to do a little more buffing before I can put it back together.

to tell you the truth no i never have. if i wanted and intercooler i would buy a 86-87. Since you have an intercooled car why would you want to do it to the hotair car. try to make it fast the way it is.

i totally see your point, and we are going to try and get this hot air project going as fast as we can without an IC
