Snubber
I dont think snubbers help or hurt you, Ive been a 1.47 with one and a 1.45 without one on a 9" slick. I think alot of it has to do with how you stage a car, I turn on the first bulb at idle, bring up the rpm's a little then turn on second bulb and get on it real good. That brings the front end up and the back end down, by the time im at the boost I want to launch out at the light is at the 3rd yellow. I think the only time a pinion snubber should be used is when someone uses their car as a daily driver and they make good power on street tires, you sorda need that weight on those radials. Thats just my experience.
