I think I saw an episode where they were supposed to run a GN but it broke so the racer bought another car to race. No offense to anyone, but that show is really dumb most of the time. Paul

yeah the show is pretty lame but i never see any grand nationals or ttype on tv anymore and i know ive seen a comercial where they have a black gn getting ready to race

I thought it was one too, but if you look hard enough it looks like a Monte Carlo from the early 80's. Not the SS style but the regular one. In the comercial the show a dark blue Monte in the sun and the race was in the evening. Next time you see it look at the nose of the car.

The show is interesting for sure, I think the format needs to be changed (that topic has been beat to death) but its nice seeing people like that loud mouth fat broad in the mustang watch the old guy drive her car down the track after winning it. I just cant understand how someone would bring a car out to race that cant make at least 5 clean passes without breaking something. The diaper around the trans was just horrible.
