Yeah, I was glad the guy in the Camaro won, the other guy was d@#k. It would have been better if they had gone heads up, both spraying with none of that negotiating BS. I KNOW most of us here could take either on of those cars. :)

Actually, while I'm not going to give numbers, Tonys camaro has most of us covered.

The whole show is a joke, they don't really lose their cars (Dustins car actually belongs to another guy), they had to film the races multiple times, and the host is a dumbass.

Those were two local guys from Chicago. The guy who owns the green Camaro owns a shop about 5 minutes from my house. The show was pretty crappy. Both people who raced said it was gay and don't want to be associated with it again.
The green car is featured in the street racing DVD Scandalous Racing.

i didnt get to see it yet, but i am recording it for later

The Camaro did look strong, I would think he's running low 11's, but thats just a guess. Anyway, I wonder how long it will be before they line a TR up?

Yea. if ya looked close that Camaro has an LT1 in in .. The LS1 was gone..

Are you kidding me???

You think a stripped down race built lightweight camaro with a 300 shot runs 11's? I bet that car runs 11's on motor.

It's on now if anybody cares.

I have sceen this show 2 times and damn it was lame both times!

The last one was worse than the first I saw :(

A built up GTO and some beater street rod

Was dumb i may watch it one more time but thats when I have time to waist :o

Did anybody watch it last night? They ran a 88 Olds Delta 88 against an old hotrod, but they never said what the Olds had in it. It sounded like a V-6, you know where I'm going with this.....

Some strange force keeps me watching this show, even though I can't stand it.

Has anyone noticed the host is getting more and more of a jerk every episode???

I noticed on the PINKS website he gets ripped pretty bad - so much so he has some FU kind of reply to his "fans".

When i first saw the commercials, it sounded like a great idea. Then, all these "negotiations" and the fact people really weren't loosing their cars messed it all up.

For you locals to Chicago, Kevin Matthews' (radio personality) kid is in the band that does the music for that show.

Whaddya mean these guys don't loose their cars, I've heard rumors about that but how does it go down. Whats the down low on this? I watched the one tonite with the Nova and Camaro. The host is a rock and obviouly can't hear anything. The racer said I want 15 lenghts on motor. The bald host immediatley turns to the other racer and says " will you go 12 lenghts on motor?" WTF??? Let me know about not loosing the cars.

It is my understanding from those involved (I wasnt there - but one of the guys from the first episode is a moderator on Chitownracing.com) that the LS1 car that raced (the more stock car) wasnt even his car, and it was prearranged that no one would lose their cars no matter what. If you want to sign up at Chitown you can read all about it. He was originally supposed to race a ricer from California, and the ricer backed out last minute, so he brought a cross-town buddy (the LT1 car). The other one was the old street rod guy sold the GTO back to the original owner for $100... That I thought was cool.

The Chicago guy (Dustin) was asked to come back on a future episode, he said he doesnt want anything to do with that show or that Christensen guy. He said he is the biggest tool.

BTW - those were all filmed last October....

That's a little different. If the owners strike side deals outside the show that's their prerogative. In reality, they did lose their cars on the show. I think it's cool that the winners are nice enough to give the cars back, even with a small fee attached. That was a sweet GTO - I'm glad that guy got it back.

I think the host is a tool, but the show is growing on me.
