pinning the govenor spring

can anyone give me a detailed description on how its done? flew off tonight and want to fix it for good, Email pics or diagrams if you have them. Just worried about putting to much weight on one side, what do you actually use?

Try this if you can get a gov. out of another old tranny. I got mine out of a 200 tranny and it works perfect. Great idea from Chris at CK. It is just a little nylon band with a tit on it that slides over the gov. shaft and sets in place under the spring and adds no weight to amount to anything. Not sure what trannies have this type band on the gov. but I am sure Chris could tell you or maybe has them in stock. This is the real fix without adding weight.
