Hard to believe someone would desecrate a GN as valuable as they are....that's why most of them instead end up butchering up grandma's stock 3.8 n/a Regal...

But at least this guy didn't think "I should pull out the V6 and put in a V8....because 8 cylinders is less than 6"...but still the paint, the rims...looks like maybe his "bros" or his "hoes" tried stealing it from him hence the red column collar.

Whats wrong with Rick Harper? Hes a good friend of mine. The engine in my car was built by him, I shipped it from AZ just so he could build it. 10.50 with non roller cam and stock heads. Not too shabby!

For your information, Rick Harper is originally from the Montreal area. He was notorious for screwing everyone who dealt with him (including myself). After doing this for a while, he found out that no one wanted to do business with him anymore, so he moved to Florida and got in the Buick business. Now because of his past reputation, I wouldn't do business with him under no circumstance! There are a lot of great Buick suppliers out there...so why deal with someone that has a so-so reputation and not being sure of getting what you pay for??...

Maybe you are one of the few that he has not ripped off. Consider yourself lucky. Here are a few threads regarding your 'good friend" Btw he tried selling me some used parts back in '95. Nothing wrong with used parts. The problem is that he ordered the parts new, told me they had arrived, I went to the shop, he pulled out the box we open it & there were my "new" freshly rusted parts. He also built my motor & I tell you the car never ran well after that. I can give more details but here are the links. They speak for themselves

Ive read all these threads years ago.........the chop shop was a joke, google it, nothing ever came of the aligations. Ive bought broken parts from Jegs. Granted It seems that you have known him longer than me, and yes I am lucky to have him as a friend.

The thing about the parts is what he is notorious for. He is a parts swaper. He took the part off another customers car & tried to sell it to me as new. Anyway let's just drop this. I'm glad your car is running great. Good luck in the future, "Devil Dog" Semper Fi.....
