Guys, please give me some ideas on how to see what's wrong with my TR. It boosts to 10 lbs and that's it. The lines don't appear to have any leaks, the intercooler hoses are on tight, the adjustable rod is set for 18 lbs. I'm at a complete loss, and have no idea what else to check. Please give me some ideas. Thanks.

First thing to check if boost is at 10# is that the hoses from the "y" are hooked up corectly. If the are reversed, you will be limited to about 10# of boost. Did you fiddle with anything prior to boost being at 10#?

Didn't change a thing....

Thanks for the reply...The car ran 18-19 lbs with xylene the week prior. Only thing I could think of was I washed the engine bay, more like rinsed it off with Simple Green (also tried to keep water away from the electrical things). Tried turning up the boost, to 18 lbs, no difference. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

W/G solenoid dead maybe? It might have gotten SG/water in it and decided it didn't like that. IIRC, the default boost level on the solenoid is 10#. Try hooking the turbo line directly to the w/g actuator (tuner style) and go for a drive. It will probably spool up slow, but if it gets to the preset boost level you have dialed in on the w/g rod, then I would say dead w/g solenoid. I'm having the same problem with my T.....13-14# boost, even with a shortened rod. If the weather will play nice, I'll be doing the same test on mine.
