This is what happens when you complicate these cars. This is why the stock MAF and simple chip should always be used especially breaking in a new motor.

Once you run engine in SD meaning you dont have a MAF. The MAP is used. It needs to be wired in correctly and have proper signal or the car wont run. period.

Take the long cover off. You will see 2 chips. 1 samll one and 1 big one. Pull the big one and get the number off it.

Bought the car this way if up to me it would be stock it's been a pita everysince I got I just wanna get it running already there is a black box with electronics going to it and looks like two tubes you put vac one on that and nothing connected to it any ideas that might be it

Took the cover off to chips with bar codes on them I will give u the longer of the two thau both are the same with here's the code 50705r101306195

I pulled the cover when I got In there I could see retangle chips two have bar codes the one I gave u has like another chip coming right of on it that number is 33078 then there is another above that one that says a61804 then 21633 then delco 466 the next one up says 51174 the next one says 51179 the next one is the second with bar code r10505195 off o the right another saying 26369 then two on bottom on is anti theif pro and other number is number 16036504

If the chip has says "Anti-Theft" then you will need use disarm procedure to start. I'll send you a pm.

There's lots of black boxes....But if it has two vacuum ports on it sounds like the EGR Valve Controller. Not used if you are using an aftermarket chip. Is this 'black box' on the intake/valve cover, driver's side? Be a little more specific in location.
