24's Anyone???

Anyone know where I can get some used 24" Wheels for my 87 GN?

I also prefer the "Spinner" type

Thanks-

Not for Nothin...

WOW!
Not for Nothin, but those 20's look really good on your car!!!
I'm not a fan of those rims, don't get me wrong. I'm a 16" wheel guy myself...

BUT "You're definitely a minority here, cause very few like's those "Ghetto Rims" in this forum and thread.

Bump for you Dude!! Nice Pics

What is the deal with you guys? Any other forum would think it's cool and your own thing if you liked 23's or 44's on your car, is it because it's black and says turbo that it's all of a sudden a sin to make it look anything other than stock?

Catch up on the times, 20's are coming on production cars now... it's not 1990 anymore where 14" wheels and white lettered tires were the ****. Some cars may look ridiculous with 22's but you can take a Hyundai Accent GT and add some 22's and have it look good with the right stance(to me). Like the saying goes, "you can please all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time". I'm gonna bash everyone else here that has cars they can't tell apart from any other GN in the parking lot because nobody can get the urge to do something to set it apart. 15" wheels are for resto projects and drag racing, 16" plus are for looks and cornering.

Done with my rant

I still like lots of tire. But I thing some 17s would look good on my car.
I like 17"s too, but I think I just wanted to drive my dub city model. So I got both.

I am one of the ones that does not care for big wheels. Its not that I dont like them its how most of them are carried out. I hate the "Skyjacker" look when 20"+ wheels are put on. But if done right I it can look pretty good I will admit that but only if done right. Hybrid T your car looks done right. Not my style but I won't knock the effort and energy put into it. I would probably put 17's max on my car because that is what I like, and I personally feel that anything over 17's are overkill for a G-Body. That's my opinion though and you know what they say about that.

LOOKs very nice. I install 20x8.5 in the rear and 18x8 in front riding on P-Zero tire. the 20`s with tire weight about 45lbs not heavy when compare to cheap chrome plated wheels. I notch the frame rail, install 1 inch drop spring all around. now the cra sit nice and lower with NO rub. wheel look nicly tuck in the wheel well.

As for the Ghetto statement. what do u know about ghetto? most of you will not survive in the ghetto...LOL. secondly a GN can`t even hold the pavement with stock 15`s (honda wheels LOL) DONUT( wheel)...LOL .BUICK wheels are UGLY. Looks like muscular dude with skinny leg...LOL. dame ugly 15`s rim. May if you had $3000.00 extra you will buy better sneaker (wheel) for you ride. The wheel are the most important part of a car.

Have you ever seen someone wear the wrong sneaker for a event? 15`s wheels are like showing up to a track n feild event with eskimo shoe...LOL,

Oh, and them over size 15`s tire, I will like to see them take a hard corner at 1.5g...LOL. it well be a ghetto situation..lol

15`s are for loser.

yo yo yooo

It's all good, and diversity is great! I like 15s, 16s, but still can respect people who like 20s, 21s, and even 24's if you can fit the darn things!!! Hell- it's your car, and you can do anything you want with it... BUT-

However, once people attack other people for what they like (especially outwardly, by saying "15's are for Losers", and "you wouldn't survive in the Ghetto" that's when you show people rudeness and disrespect... No disrespect either my friend, just making a point

See what I'm saying? - "ya know what I'msaying?" whatsup with that?

Is it true that if you go up to 22" rims - you no lon ger need to put rubber on them? Or was that 26" rims"

That looks awesome in my book, And ironically I do like Def Leppard and Nelly....maybe thats why. :P
Also, I havent ran into so many haters of thier own brand since I was with the VW community, lots of car nazis there too. They just HAVE to give thier opinion on everything, good or bad. Thats what I was taught as a child was being egotistical.

so what do you guys run at the drags with these 20-26's
I think most run slicks on 15s, or drag radials. Atleast the ones I have asked. Even on 20s, w/ a 275/30-20, its the same 26" outside diam as OEM, so its not that different really. Also, Ive never seen a GN on anything larger than 20", much less a 26". Running 20s on the streets is just for style, because no one races on the streets...right?! :D
There is a big difference between running 20s on a lowered car and 26" on a raised one. Foosed styled is the first, Yo MTV raps is the latter. I am all about Foose.

.

for drag 15`s. In the streets 20`s and still smoke yea.

Please don`t Take what i say here on a person level. you should all know better. LIke the title say " " so please tell me who is hating?

I also fold the lip in the inner quarter wheel well.

Peace! and YEA ist all good....Homey :D .
