Today she went to Kearney Nebraska to buy the kids some school clothes. All went well until she got to Kearney. She had a series of several seizures (according to my boys, she dont remember). She came to and made it to her parents house where she passed out and quit breathing for 1-2 minutes until the paramedics arrived.

They got her breathing again and I have been at the hospital all day with her. She is getting much better, although they believe she may have had a "reaction" to some migrane medicine. They ran a cat scan, EEG, bloodwork etc so hopefully we will know tomarrow.

Please say a prayer fellas, you kinda take your family for granted until something like this happens. Then you realize what is important in life.

God is with your wife, and you, & your family, EVERY moment during this challenging trial. Be assured of this.

And so is ALL the good will and prayers of your friends!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

(Our family knows well the sort of appreciation you're experiencing, from similar kinds of "surprises")

Holler if you need ANY thing, O.K.?

I know what it's like to have a family member have seizures like that. Went through all the hospitals and emergency rooms.

It really is a scary thing to experience. The scariest thing I think is the not knowing of the cause or cure.

Please be strong for your family and your wife. Hopefully the doctors will be able to determine the cause and prevent any future seizures.

Of course you have my prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I'm hoping it's just a bad reaction to some medication as you said. Wishing for a full recovery. Best of luck.

hope all gets well with your wife that had to be a scarry time for you and rest of the family and for her too of course

if they think it is from the headache medicine please post what it was because my wife has been trying alot of medicines for migrains and I'd rather her skip that one

Hope things work out ok for your wife. My wife takes migrain medicine that insicently is a seizure med.

Sorry to hear about your wife. A good friend of mine had this happen to his daughter. Just all of a sudden one day she had a siezure, the episodes continued. She is on medicatiln now and is doing very well. She was like 5 when this all started.

I hope your wife does OK. Youre right, wwe take our families for granted, hate to think of something like this happening in my house.

Be there for them.

We will say a prayer for you and your family. Keep us posted on what caused it..

My thoughts and prayers goes out to you and your wife.
How are the kids through all this?
The young ones need you to be strong and there for them through this crisis.

P.S. Keep Us Posted

Thanks fellas.............

Our 2 boys were with her yesterday when it happened. Age 6 and 3. They both just dont really understand what happened just that it wasnt right.

If we find out for sure it is or isnt the medicine I will post it in this thread. Just want to make sure before I give anyone else cause to panic.

Well, off to the hospital. Wish her well today guys.

A prayer from my house to yours

TY, We'll keep you, your wife, and the kids in our prayers, as you did with my grandson.
All will work out...

Prayer!

***Side note, I lost my mom and my dad from doctors missing things, such as reactions to medication (my doctor missed a FEW tumors) all I can say to people in the mid west is MAYO CLINIC just go. No one will treat you better and that is the best care available.....

It's really scary when you start having to worry about your wife's (or kids) health. Very easy to panic when someone you love like that is threatened. I hope it turns out to be something simple that can be easily dealt with.

This just happened to my two month old nephew.
Stanford could not really find anything wrong with him.
He is on medicine and the problem is under control.
I pray that your wife and family will be ok.

her name would be nice so i can include her in my prayers, but may god watch over her in these trial days.

May God be with you and your family. Have faith and all will turn out for the best. If I can do anything at all to help, let me know.
