RJC's are basically the 8.5mm Super Conductor wires, which I have had on my GN for 4 years, 60k miles and no problems whatsoever!!! If I new they sold them when I bought mine, I would have gotten them there. It always good to support the Turbo Buick vendors....

Running a set of Taylors 8.5mm's I purchased at NAPA. Work great. They are black with grey boots.

Not to dispute anything anyone has recommended here.

But for the best quality and price and a wire set that you basically never have to worry about again the Bosch plug wires sold at autozone for $32.00 and come with a lifetime warranty are hard to beat.

I have been running them for years with no problem whatsoever. I replace them every couple of years absolutely free so i always have new wires on the engine, not that they need replacing.

It's your money so spend it wisely and buy / pay once and forget it. :wink:

I like the Russ Merrit wires. They cost a little more than others, but they are great quality and great fit. Worth the extra $$$$$.

I've ran 4 or 5 different sets on my car in 4 years trying to find something I liked. My main thing is they must be black or gray. Any other color is a turn off in an engine bay and it looks horrible IMO. Reminds me to much of rice for some reason. Price was never an issue and I have plenty of expensive plug wire sets sitting in a box that are pretty much brand new that I didn't like. The best by far is the Russ Merrit plug wires from RJC. The color is perfect and the fit of the wires are perfect. They are custom made for our cars only. Not wires that were made for 100 other GM applications. These are custom cut just for the turbo Buicks. I was having a corrosion issue on 2 of the towers on my coil pack with all the other wires and even thats gone now that I run Russ's wires. Jason sells them at RJC like the guys stated above and IMO they are the best for street and track hands down.

you cant go wrong with these wires. i have used many different wires sold from many vendors and these are by far the best set. yes they are alot but the quailty and fit is second to none.

Red 10MM Magnecores both cars. :smile:

With the red wires you don't need any chrome bling.

Good for 10-15 years too on a daily driver.

Ac Delco please

I prefer the factory AcDelco wires myself. I like my wires to be hidden and not noticed. the delcos are all black. i dont like opening a hood and the first thing you notice are ugly colored ignition wires. I just paid $16 for these wires at the local GM dealer. part #12073924

I tried all the local auto parts places by me and nobody has them so and I don't want any colors so I'll try GM dealer on Monday morning if not I'm going to Kirbans.

I have the red 10mm magnecores on the GN now, will go with the Russ Merrit wires next time out.
