hey guys, just got back from the store, they didn't have the R43's so i went with the R42LTS's is that ok? are they pre-gapped at .35?

you should be fine with the colder plug, could also switch to compatable NGK, always check the gap before you install, probably is correct, but check anyway.......

i have NGK's in there now, just wanna see if i can tell a difference with the AC's, just trying to change things up to see why i'm getting terrible mileage :(

You would get better gas mileage with the 44's, with a .035 gap. The plug, and gap should handle 22 psi.

The NKG plugs seem to work for other people, but not the Bosch platinum. Do a search on both boards. I left a link in the technical section of the other board you might find helpfull.

damn it, should i take em back and get the 44's? they have the 44's in stock

Yes I would. Read the post above, (my original) I edited it while you were typing the one above this. :)

That kind of plug is used in high boost situations to help control detonation. The trade-off is gas mileage. Not a lot, but enough to be noticeable.

Gees, I hope you aren't respondiing to my edited post right now.

That could go on all night! :)

the 2 stores i went to didn't have the 43's :( i'll take em back(the 42's) tomorrow and get the 44's

You actually need to get the CR43, not the R43...The CR plug is better, the electrode is bigger and resists blowing the spark out under high boost...Also, try the NGK's you should have are the UR5 V-groove, not the platinum's...
