I was checking out my next door neighbors alky set up. He has a sureflow 100psi pump and then right after it he has a plunger. It has a spring in it so when the pump surges it is suppose to keep the flow from pulsating. I have not seen any metion on this and also did a search.

What are your guys thoughts on this. It seems like a good idea.

He also said he would take $100 or less for it .
Two hobs switches
pump
lines wrx tank
2 aqua mist nozzles

he has a sti now and does not need it anymore
and relays yada yada

I ran a simular DIY kit last year, the plunger is not needed, the pump does not pulse like people think. The nozzles should be 1.0 mm each to do you any good. If you have no kit now, you'll notice a big difference. Prob drop a tenth off your best. Maybe two if you tune with straight meth. Price is good. Mark

Big turbo

I have stock heads and 202 cam.stacked gn intercoolers 62mmjjtb, 3 dp and 3 1/2 2 exhaust. I am also putting on a te62. do you have anthing else done to your motor to get that time. Your 60ft should be pretty good to. I would like to hear about your set up. Have we met at the track at all?
Chris

Hey Chris, I don't think we've ever met. I only go a couple of times a year.....I would remember a GN Volvo. I usually pick races with Cobras and Corvettes. The more obnoxious and loud ego-cars are the best. I love to humble them with my 4cyl. Judging by your mods, it sounds like your serious to make your car fast. I'm not intimate with GN's but from what I've learned the progressive alky controller is the way to go, stock GN's with alky and traction go 12's. My car is way-way faster with the progressive than DIY. I ran 11.9-12.0's @ 30psi. last Sept. on a stock ( valve cover never off ) 110k motor with DIY and washer fluid. This Jan. testing my 2 nozzle progressive, I bent a rod due to previously unknown rev-limiter/alky incompatability @ 35psi. Putting it back together with forged parts now and disconneting my rev limiter.

Lots of Alky and rev-limiters cause big problems.

I'll be back out sometime soon.

cool

I have heard a few talons running pretty fast. sounds like you have your car hooked up good. Don't tell anyone about my car:D

Word has aready gotten around a little. I am shooting for a 11.50 daily driver. I do not want to put a cage in it. LOL

I have done ALOt of stuff over the winter and have not taken it to the track. I am still going to try and get that kit off my neighbor. I don't know if he is going to put it on his sti.
