pod gages

hello people; It was hot as balls here in Mass.yesterday and I went out driving around like a kid. My coolant temp. went to 203 degrees (on the scanmaster) in traffic but that pod gage was reading like 250. The pod gage is an old one I got from Kirban and is usually close to the SM but not yesterday. In the past I just had the pod and got rid of a BGC rad. I had because of its readings. I went with a Griffen rad. Cottons use to sell and I guess for the temps around here lately it works. My fans never came on till I parked the car.
So don't trust those pod gages and I hope I can trust the SM.
