Get a polished. The chrome just won't last.
When you get sick of polishing..take some scotchbrite to it and give it the brushed aluminum look.

Why wont Chrome last on an ALT?? Mine was done in about 94 & still looks great! I only have about 2K per season on the car each year. Maybe thats part of it?
