The engine pop when it reaches 20 lbs and above boost. The engine has 50 lbs injectors, te-45(a) turbo, 218-218 cam, ported heads, fuel pressure at 42 lbs and power plate.

the 218-218 cam definatly needs 3800 stall or higher, much lag, but pulls like a foaming bear once it spools, but very low vacuum for the power brakes. I am still "tuning the engine" so I am not running 100 % yet.
I have not turned the boost up since I installed the power plate.So maybe it has helped!I put Sealed Power valve springs on the engine when I rebuilt it so I plan on changing valve springs and see what happens.Hope I find the problem before the Buick vs Ford race at Noble,OK.
