Just started getting a 'pop' noise when accelerating. Possibly a little back-fire but unsure.
The noise happens when I floor the car at about 20-25 mph, boost builds and then a 'pop' sound. So I let off.
Low mile stock car throughout - stock turbo, injectors, exhaust, etc. Running 93 octane with a TT chip for stock/93 & Scanmaster.
Anything specific I should look for on the Scanmaster #s?
Since not driven a lot, still have about 1/2 tank of winter fuel w/ Stabil.

Get fid of the fuel first. Next I would be looking at is the coil.

Keep that up, and the next "pop" could be a head gasket..
Post the Sm readings.
Fuel psi is?
Low miles, as in ?
Injs clean, fuel filter fresh, etc?

Thanks Chuck. I'll post the scan master readings asap.
In terms of your other questions...
9700 miles, the injectors were cleaned last year, all filters and fluids replaced at the same time by RCG.
Anything to check in terms of the MAF?

Appreciate the advice!

Possibly weak fuel pump could add a gauge out on the windshield just for testing. See if it raises the pressure 1 to 1 with boost. Try easing into it and keep below the problem area so you get a stable reading.
