Popping in the Steering

i rebuilt the tranny a couple months ago....now when i turn the wheel it pops....wut can be the problem?

Did you drop the ps rack when you did the tranny work?
Do you feel noise in wheel or under feet?
Does it do it sitting still turning the wheel?
Sounds like something loose..Who did the work?

it pops when i turn on the go and when im sitting in one spot turning the wheel

poping noise in steering

Sounds like loose Rack and Pinion mounting bolts.Since they are removed when cradle is dropped to do transmission.Most likely not tight when reinstalled.I have done it my self...
Since you stated that it happened after trans work,thats where I would look.
