Big valves or stock
EGR filled or not?
Hyd. roller springs or flat tappet?
Flow numbers or Name and proof of who ported them?
Race port, mild, or basic clean-up job?
The heads are used stock size valves,egr not filled ,flatt tap cam springs and a good port job.these heads went 10's on a stock lower end.what would be a good price if i can get them bare.
Dont buy them bare. Buy them complete. You can sell the old springs if they are still good if they don't fit your application. You say it went 10's what what the rest of the story? Guys have dipped into the tens with stockers. have they been checked for cracks? Why are they for sale? What is the asking price? Any pics? Who did the work? May want to keep looking. Lots will be up for sale after BG and Renyolds.
I want to keep his name uknown.but he did some heads that worked very well so he decided to buy and re-sell them ported. He has a set that he found that he never sold.i am very good friends with this guy and i can test them for cracks for nothing.they have been sitting for 15 years.i can probly get them for about 300 tn 500.i am from mass.
No cracks thats a great deal....just to give you an idea I got my heads about 8 years ago...stock ported by Champion filled EGR,big valves,flat tappet springs new...I paid $800 then.
