Im rebuilding the motor for this summer. Adding Gn1's, 210/215 roller, Champion ported intake, JE pistons, rods, eagle crank, ect. I was wondering how much could be gained by having some good headwork done on the GN1's? What parts of this head can be improved upon?

Why not just send the heads to Champion and have them ported? The costs and resulting flow numbers for this option are well documented, and this will maximize the performance of your investment.

I have a personal friend that does excellent headwork.....i just wanted to know if there is still quite a bit of power to be gained by messing with these heads before step up and shell out the cash. Thanks

I'd say that with a large turbo like the 70, a good FM, as listed in your sig, it would be well worth it. Power is in the heads. The parts you have will supply some volume, why not have a good set of heads that will support it?

I know what you meant. Do you know what I meant? I think I'd happily pay for Champion's expertise with their own heads, based on the very impressive flow, HP, torque, ET and MPH numbers we've all been witness to, and never look back.
